Aymara Lodge was recognized as a friendly company of the Pantanal Biosphere Reserve by the Pantanal-MT Biosphere Reserve State Committee (CERBPantanal-MT).
The Pantanal Biosphere Reserve is an area designated by UNESCO that aims to protect the biodiversity of the Pantanal region and promote sustainable development.
To receive the seal, companies need to adopt sustainable practices, such as reducing water and energy consumption, proper waste management and preservation of local fauna and flora. In addition, companies must contribute to the economic and social development of local communities, valuing the culture and identity of the region.
The Amiga Reserve Seal is an initiative of the Brazilian Network of Private Natural Heritage Reserves (RPPN) and aims to recognize and encourage sustainable and responsible actions by companies in relation to natural reserves, contributing to the preservation of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development.
