About
Aymara Lodge

A retreat to slow down and reconnect

At Aymara Lodge, time moves differently. We offer a full-board experience, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner (beverages not included), all prepared daily by Chef Adilson Rondon, highlighting local, seasonal ingredients while accommodating dietary restrictions.

Surrounded by nature, the silence and tranquility invite deep rest for both body and mind, fostering a connection with what truly matters and a disconnection from the outside world.

Activities are thoughtfully tailored to each guest’s interests and the time of their visit—whether during the dry season or the green season, every moment reveals a new kind of charm.

Experience the Pantanal in a way few ever have.

ive an unforgettable experience

At Aymara Lodge, all rooms feature a patio with views of the pool. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom.

With a rustic style and handcrafted decorative details in ipê wood—native to the region—the suites invite guests to experience the Pantanal way of life, while offering added comforts such as a ceiling fan and air conditioning.

Safari Through Unique Landscapes

Safari unfolds across some of Brazil’s most unique landscapes—from Chapada dos Guimarães, with its reddish sandstone formations surrounded by cerrado, wetlands, and gallery forests, to Porto Jofre, at the end of the Transpantaneira—an area known as the world’s highest concentration of jaguars, within the Encontro das Águas State Park.

At Aymara Lodge, the experience continues in a renowned birdwatching hotspot, where species such as rails, bare-faced curassows, guans, chestnut-eared aracaris, toco toucans, and blue-fronted parrots can be observed and photographed amid the preserved nature of the Pantanal.

Wild Nature, Authentic Experience

At Aymara Natural Reserve, nature reveals itself in its most vibrant form. Along trails and preserved areas, guests can observe a rich diversity of birds, mammals, butterflies, and reptiles, making every moment a true connection with the natural environment.

The refuge is home to iconic Pantanal species such as tapirs, marsh deer, giant anteaters, ocelots, capybaras, coatis, giant otters, and—on special encounters—pumas and jaguars. With over 300 bird species, including jabirus, toucans, parrots, and hyacinth macaws, Aymara Lodge stands out as one of the country’s premier destinations for those seeking an authentic and unforgettable wildlife experience.
